Here is an interesting extract from Daniel Pennac’s <<Comme un roman>>:
LES DROITS IMPRESCRITIBLES DU LECTEUR
1. Le droit de ne pas lire.
2. Le droit de sauter des pages.
3. Le droit de ne pas finir un livre.
4. Le droit de relire.
5. Le droit de lire n’importe quoi.
6. Le droit au bovarysme (maladie textuellement transmissible).
7. Le droit de lire n’importe où.
8. Le droit de grappiller.
9. Le droit de lire à haute voix.
10. Le droit de nous taire.

Looking for a copy of Werckmeister Harmoniak (Open to all options - buy/borrow/steal). I enquired at Habitat and they go ‘Bela who’ ? À Tanu would be fun to re-watch too ! It has been a longtime since I spoke/read anything even remotely related to Magyar Narancs..
Started weekend with a Friday midnight show of Aki Kaurismaki’s ‘Man without a past’. Wonderful movie -Loaded with humor & sarcasm. The one of the best dead pan humors I’ve seen. Great script ! Dialogues maketh the movie.

As part of my photo blog updation, today I was making some tonal adjustments to a few pictures I shot during a trip to Thirumayam. During the much-anticipated visit of roommate to my parents’ place a month or so ago, we planned a visit to the Chettiar palace (which did’nt happen) and a quickie to the Thirumayam fort (which did). But this post is not about the trip. It is about a little girl I saw at Thirumayam.
As we neared the fort we saw a group of kids playing. Amongst them was this enthu cutlet of a little girl ! Oh boy, was’nt she the boss of the gang! And mind you, she was the tiniest of the bunch of tots hanging around at the fort entrance!
I had set the ISO at max for an earlier shot and forgot to dial back the right ISO. And before I even noticed that the pictures were slightly grainy the little girl had moved on with life. I still love these pictures for her photogenic face & lovely smile (not to mention her healthy teeth and attractive eyes) .
Thankfully there are still a few things that are’nt dependent on the right ISO :o)
This is her..

A part of the gang that she leads..

It did take a loooong time to make her get that my camera does not focus at a distance of 1mm :))

In how many ways can YOU smile ?
